About the role:

We currently have a casual position available for a reliable, flexible and customer service officer to join the Freight/Yardperson team in Adelaide.

Your key responsibilities will include Freight:

• Provide quality service to all Greyhound customers, by understanding and selling suitable products.
• Accurately sort, package, consign and deliver freight ensuring distribution to the correct location.
• Build and maintain knowledge of freight products and services, and train others when required.
• Prepare customer invoices and accept payments, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
• Lif and manoeuvre freight safely in line with manual handling procedures
• Perform administrative functions as required of the position, including COB banking.
• Maintaining computerised records for administration purposes
• Providing general support to the team.

Cleaning Yardperson primary duties

•   Clean and maintain all coaches to ensure customer satisfaction, health and safety
• Maintain clear work areas
• Assist all other staff in the completion of their tasks
• Maintain presentation of all company equipment and vehicles other than coaches
• Manage lost property

• Forklift licence (essential)
• Satisfactory national criminal history check
• High levels of communication and customer service skills
• A presentable appearance and professional approach to your work
• Reliability and flexibility to do shift-work
• Motivation and commitment to provide excellent service
• Intermediate skills in the Microsoft suite of products
• A working knowledge of a freight Management or booking system
• A proactive ‘hands on’ approach
• The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
