About Us

Greyhound Australia is Australia’s only national coach company and has proudly connected Australians for over 110 years.

In 2023, we entered an exciting new chapter with the Entrada Travel Group acquiring us, expanding our reach and travel/tourism operations across Australia and New Zealand. We're focused on the future, and we're proud to be ambassadors of the beautiful country we share and explore every day.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a proactive People & Culture Advisor to play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across a people-focused environment.

It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being close to operations, building confidence in ER/IR matters, and partnering with leaders on day-to-day people challenges.

You will be a key contributor within a small, close-knit People & Culture team — reporting to the People & Culture Manager and working alongside a Senior People & Culture Advisor.

This role has flexibility to work from home two days per week, onsite parking, monthly BBQs and discounted travel across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and review employment documentation across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, ensuring accuracy, compliance with legislation, and alignment with organisational policies
  • Manage end-to-end ER and IR matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, disciplinary processes and absence management
  • Coach and support frontline leaders to build confidence in managing their people effectively
  • Maintain and optimise HR systems, including GO1 and Employment Hero (time and attendance)
  • Prepare and deliver timely HR reports and analysis to support informed leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure deadlines, service standards, and confidentiality requirements are consistently met
  • Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and capability-building initiatives

About You

You are an organised and detail-oriented HR professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and getting the fundamentals right.

  • Up to 3+ years' experience in a People & Culture or HR generalist role
  • Proven experience across all facets of HR including industrial relations, employee relations, performance management, termination risks, National Employment Standards, and the Fair Work Act.
  • Previous experience with time and attendance systems, particularly Employment Hero is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
  • Workers Compensation experience highly regarded
