About the role

We currently have a permanent full-time ( 40 hours per week ) opportunity for a reliable, motivated and safety conscious individual to join our Workshop Team as a qualified Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Tradesperson/Mechanic.

Your key responsibilities will include

• • Ensuring coaches and other Greyhound vehicles are maintained to the highest level
  • Regular mechanical servicing
  • Determine or assist in determining complex root cause of all breakdowns, failures, delays and process incidents
  • Understand our fleet’s maintenance requirements
  • Ensure Greyhound coaches are in sound working order by detecting mechanical and electrical faults and repairing and replacing parts where needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for all servicing and repairs
  • Complying with safe work practices
  • Accurately recording data in workshop system

Please note that this role will require you to work shifts including nights and weekends in the performance of your duties.

Annual wage of $81,000.00 plus super and allowances

Essential Experience and Criteria

You will be trade qualified with sound mechanical experience. Experience with Scania and Volvo vehicles in the coach and/or truck industry is an advantage, as is having an HR licence.
